Garden Invaders
'Garden Invaders' is a unique quiz show with a horticultural twist. It's the first quiz show of its kind to throw down the gauntlet to a horticulturally challenged family in desperate need of help. Their challenge is to battle against the clock and win items for the ultimate garden makeover.
The Invaders team tackles gardens in a race against time with only twelve hours to complete the makeover. The pressure is on the family to try to win as many items as possible for their garden and the more items they win, the more dramatic the transformation. Joined by a team of student horticulturists, Kim Wilde is one of a handful of garden designers who battle against the clock as each item won is used to transform a garden disaster into a Garden of Eden.
From handy hints to tense trepidation, for the green fingered or the unenlightened, Garden Invaders has something for everyone.
The programme ran for several seasons, Kim Wilde participated in season one (2001) and two (2002).
